No that would be the election of W. If the term election even applies to his method of obtaining of the oval office.

Sarene: When he tops Bush's record debt run-up of $4.9 trillion in 4 years come back and we'll talk. Obama has three more years and there is every bit as much reason to believe that he can lower the debt as there is to believe it will continue to go up. The clock is still running, cream puff.

He will more than top that number.

By 2019, the estimate is $25 Trillion debt, $9+ trillion deficit.

You might want to check out OBAMAS own numbers.. By his own admission, the Bush debt runup will seem like pennies in the cost of the war..

realistically, there is no way that he is going to lower the debt with all the spending he is doing.

collections are down, unemployment is up, and social service demand is way up. there is no chance to catch up that way.

meet the new big spender, same as the old big spender.

This explains about Obama!!!

While suturing up a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand had been caught in the gate while working his cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama, and his being our president.

The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Obama is just a Post Turtle."

Now not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked,

What's a "Post Turtle?"

The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle."

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he sure as heck ain't goin' anywhere and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there in the first place."

This has been posteed before. It was about Palin and it certainly was more applicable in her case.

more applicable for Palin? Why? I was unaware that she won the presidency.. Hell, what exactly are you saying she's on top of or are you just posting more hatred for Palin for no reason what so ever?
