Obama won the 2008 presidential election, I'm sure he'll have no trouble finding a lot of people to believe him.
Theres a difference between a disaster that people saw coming, a week out, and did nothing until 3 to 5 days after, and a man made disaster that we were told wasn't that bad, until yesterday.
Since the news came out that its releasing 5000 barrels a day, the President has called into service everything he can, to try and help.
So if a despised oil company exec tells 0bama a spill is only, pffffft, 1,000 barrels a day, 0bama would be correct to ignore it because it would not be a disastrous impact on coastal areas? When did 0bama start trusting implicitly what the greedy, hell-spawned oil company execs tell him?
So some braniac moved all references to the oil spill into a discussion about the need to "Drill Baby Drill! By The Way, Anybody Got A Mop?"???
My thread was on how FEMA, and the government should be responding to oil spills, not about the pros and cons of drilling for oil or quotes by Sarah Palin.
