Brainwashing is not partisan or ideological. Divisions such as the one alluded to above are manufactured to further erode the population so "strength in numbers" is unachievable. The whole goal is control of what gets created. Since the vast majority of people refuse to accept that they actually create reality with their every thought, they give that awesome power to others who go on to create a reality that only benefits them. I've always argued that the brainwashed are always the last to know about it.

I say it is very possible and that in the number of decades since the attempt was begun in this country it is very, very possible. No;even in extreme cases like Germany there are those who don't follow the maddening crowd and those who can't be terrorized in to staying quiet. That is why those speaking up must be protected whether we like it or not as to what they say.There are for instances those who would like to suppress the Tea Party but I am not one of them as aren't others as we have seen. I have often wondered what that progressive shield I have talked about so long looked like. It is a conductor though so not a shield at all or is it that the conservatives have been wearing those things to keep from being brainwashed?

How could I have hated the pubic education system? I attended those schools for 12 years, then went to a public supported university for 6 years and then taught in public schools for 28 years. I will admit that I did teach kids about Communism all those years and I also taught them about the weaknesses of it and the reasons it could never work as they are told by those who have been brainwashed. I will bet you that not one of my ex-students is taken in by all this crap because they knew what it is all about. Even the girls who weren't interested in politics knew what was going on.
Yeah, I hated public education, as long as I was taking part. My wife is still in it after 38 years and will go two more and she says there is a whole lot of difference in the whole thing now as compared to the early 70s when she started.
