I think children must be just children. I hate any kind of children's competitions.
Oh, I don't know. How about kick the can, red-rover (sky blue PINK come over!), or yelling "inclear!" and playing baseball and throwing the ball over the electrical wires at night after it got dark, and seeing who could do the best at suddenly seeing the previously invisible ball reappear in the glare of the streetlights, which at that time were a warm, wholesome daylight white, instead of the current orange-purple death ray lights in use in America, resonant of nothing so much as the zone between East and West Berlin...those accusatory lights, which turn us all into zombies and our eyes into glints of ebony evil?

Beautiful words!! It's almost a poem. It's romantic. Are you a poet??

Buddy you need to quit staring into those deathray lights hoping your childhood returns. LOL
the sadly ironic thing is that, in the music video, Beyonce didn't look as skanky as these girls! they're showing more skin than B. did in the original video!
IDK, I'm just hoping that, if I'm fortunate enough to pop out a little girl, by the time I do, this weird phase of girls dressing up and dancing like strippers will pass and my little girl can go rock out in Mary Janes and appropriate-length jumper or sundress w/ a cutesy cartoon character on it. I don't even like seeing little girls in heels or in bikini tops

The only honest thing I can say is that I'm not shocked by this with the way things are going today.
With the attitudes of the parents, the girls may get the go ahead to finance a college education by stripping, while being defended by their parents saying "it's art, what is your problem?"
