Hopefully to a more progressive nation than this place.

They would do well in a western European nation. I could imagine them London or Paris.

My vote goes to DC. The only Republican candidate I could see giving Obama a run for his money is Mitt Romney and even that's kind of a stretch.

When the economy has turned around people will start to appreciate him again and reelect him. After all, people are egoists, they care for their own material wellbeing more than anything.

Another vote for Kenya. Or, given that they're in public housing now, why not just shift locations and move in with his aunt? The US, after all, is not in favor of the breaking up of families.

If he loses I suspect it be where his daughters go to school. They will be 11 and 14. Will they want to stay in Washington or return to Chicago? My bet is they will stay in Washington.

If he loses it will be because of exaggerated claims by the right that he's driving the US to the far left (I disagree) - but also from the left where he'll lose support for being seen as out of touch (he's having too much fun with basketball stars) and for trying to win arguments on debating points - too much Al Gore 2000 and not enough Bill Clinton passion/charm/likability and persuasion skills. (Like Bill or not - he's good at it).
