Is Prescott considered a conservative area politically?

Yes, as a general rule, but there are people with all kinds of views. In Yavapai county (where Prescott is), 61% voted for McCain and 37% voted for Obama. That vote was 54%/45% statewide. In most of the proposition questions, Yavapai county was several points more conservative than the state as a whole. For example, there was a question that banned the state from ever taxing the sale of real estate (aka no transfer or stamp tax). Yavapai voted 80%/20% (for/against) while the state as a whole voted 77%/23%.

YES! very much. Not only politically but in all fields here.

Even the nightlife is too conservative (isn't the whole point of having a bar to let loose and just have fun??!!). Then why do they have so many damn bars then, if they can't have fun??

When I used to go out here (I still do, but not as often now, because it's boring really), people at the bars are so dead and don't like talking to people they don't know (that's the whole magic of them, to meet NEW people).

And when there is a band, hardly to none, ever dance or anything (isn't the whole point to have fun and dance when there is a live band playing in town??). SHEEEEESH!!!

And if you go into a bar here and don't drink (you order a Coke or something like that) then some idiot comes up to you and says, "YOU'RE DRINKING A COKE!!!! THAT'S A DISGRACE!!". They love to embarrass you up so bad when you don't drink an alcohol beverage. They whole point is to have fun, not get wasted and be stupid!! Sheesh, it's too uptight for me!!

Honestly, I'm middle of the road in politics. I can be conservative at times and I can be a little bit liberal in other times. That's just me.

So you are Bipolitical? I am sure that doesn't go over well with the no-teeth Crowd.
I have read your posts and was curious as to why you stay in an area you clearly dislike?
It can shorten your life to live under constant stress!
