What a messed up.....abomination. Woody should just consider disbanding the team, selling all of their assets for $$, and pocket it or donate it. That is the worst managed team I've ever seen in any level of any sports competition (including casual sports leagues) in any sport.

Dude, even though I've never liked the Jets, I feel sorry for their fans.

How dumb does the Jets front offlice look now when granting Sanchez that extension? he's guaranteed $8.5M next year, so they'll probably just keep him.

So in everyone's opinion: Mark Sanchez, draft bust?

The Jets locker room was a mess last season. So what do they do? Fail to get Peyton Manning, throw wads of cash at Sanchez to make him feel better about being their backup plan, and add the most polarizing, overhyped player in the league to their already dysfunctional locker room. Mix in key injuries on both sides of the ball and PR faux pas galore and you get this mess.

I wouldn't call him a bust. He's at least made it to the AFC Championship game twice. He's definitely being vastly overpaid.

True, but on the other hand, his career stats at this point are comparable to Joey Harrington's.

I agree, good for him making those two AFC Championship runs, but that was mostly on the defense. Mark was more of a game manager.

To his defense though, Sanchez hasn't gotten much help. His receivers, his running backs, and his o-line today are worse than they were a few years ago. The last 3 Jets 1st round picks have all been defensive players. Management hasn't done a great job with getting Sanchez offensive talent to work with.

I watched much of that game last night, wow, what a stinker. Told my wife that it was about the worst game I've ever seen.

No amount of Tebowing could save them....

Rex and the Jets were better before the stomach surgery.

Their problems definitely go beyond the playing field.
