Houston over Cincinnati. The Texans have faltered a bit down the stretch, and this game will be close, but I think Houston pulls it off.
Green Bay over Minnesota. Yes Minnesota has Adrian Peterson, but I like the Packers in this one at home.
Redskins over Seattle. While the Seahawks are money on their home turf, it's very hard to go across the country and try to get a win. RGIII is the better rookie QB.
Ravens over Colts. The return of Ray Lewis should provide an emotional boost to push the Ravens over the hump. Indy will keep it close.

I'm thinking Texans may have trouble with the Bengals, and I'm not on the Seahawks bandwagon. It will be a great game, but I think 'Skins pull it off. I also would like to see the Colts beat the Ravens but don't think they will.
I think you're underestimating home field advantage.
Yes, you can pick and choose some games where the road team came in and won, but it is a factor and does help the home team. Bookies give points just for being at home. They don't do that out of the goodness of their heart. There is a reason for it....
But yet 75% of the geniuses over at ESPN will predict a Falcons loss next weekend.
Never mind the fact they were 7-0 at home in games that mattered...
Bengals: The Texans defense has shown weakness the last month of the season against teams like the Colts, pats, and vikings and I feel that the bengals can attack the texans secondary the same way
Vikings: The Packers defense has been giving up a lot of points this season which was also the case last week when they gave up 34 pts and I feel the Vikings with a strong running game can open the passing game and get a win in Green bay.
Colts: I personally think Andrew luck is more of a threat on offense than Joe Flacco and the fact that the Colts are playing with house money puts all the pressure on the Ravens and Flacco at home.
Skins: The skins have a strong running game which was evident the last 2 weeks of the regular season and that opened up the passing game for RG3. Plus the seattle defense has given up close to 30 pts on the road this season to teams like the Lions, Cardinals, and Rams.

As someone whos got no skin in the game w the falcons all i can say is can you blame them for not picking the falcons? Theyve been a huge bust in the playoffs the past couple years. The pressure will be on them to prove alot of people wrong.

The Falcons did show they were improved in the regular season by beating the eagles and skins on the road and the eagles in philly. So now they have to get ready for their 1st home playoff game to show they belong their after losing the last 3 games. I could see them winning with ease only if they play the Vikings because at that point the Vikings would have already exceeded expectations. The skins and seahawks I;m not so sure but we will see how it plays out.

That's what I don't get... In only one of the 3 losses were the Falcons actually favored... The 2010 team seeded #1 at 13-3.
In 2008 they were a 5th seed and lost on the road in Arizona... And same thing last year on the road in NY.
My defense to 2010 is simple... The Packers were hot. Don't care about the other years... They were road losses to higher seeded teams.
This 2012 team is the best of the Mike Smith era... You are right... No excuses as the #1 seed.

No idea what you are talking about... The Falcons regular season performance has never been in question under Mike Smith.

It doesn't matter who they play in the divisional round. 99.9% sure they will be favored to win and SHOULD win, however w/their recent playoff blunders, no one outside out of Atlanta thinks they are for real. That's why the pressure is on them.
