He has played very well in the past years but I think his time is comming soon where he needs to hang it up.

OMG yes.
I became a Packer fan in '78, so the first 15 years of my Packer existence were basically slop. Favre had so much to do with turning that around. I'm very lucky to have been able to root for a guy like him all these years.
Oh yes I LOVE Brett Favre too! I was so happy to hear we won today, especially since our offense isnt the best this year. He has done so much for the Packers and it will be a very sad day when we do have to see him go.
Being from the Chicago area, I'm a Bear fan at heart and even when I lived in Milwaukee, I didn't root for the Packers. I moved to SF and was enjoying life as a Niner fan when Favre and the Pack came into town and whipped the Niners pretty good. I think the nation was surprised. I had previously wondered though about the emergence of the Favre-led Pack after watching them in an earlier MNF game that year. They looked very sharp, explosive, athletic, and talented. They showed that year that they had surpassed the great SF 49ers. It was the beginning of the end for the Niners' dynasty.
I think Favre is a great HOF quarterback, an all-time talent, and it will certainly be a loss when he leaves. I still don't root for the Pack, but I sure as hell respect that team as long as Favre is there. I have a great amount of respect for Brett Favre.
I'm a Packers fan and have been for a long time, Brett is a heck of a Quarterback, give him a couple of recievers than can catch the ball and some protection and you have one heck of a game.
Heh, I think he should stay in GB as long as he can. He's old and not as good anymore. As long as he sticks around, GB will never be a Superbowl-competitive team, which makes room for the others. I really have no opinion of him otherwise, since I'm not from Wisconsin.
"What the hell is Brett Favre doing here?". Great scene from "There's Something About Mary". He seems like a classy guy and he's definitely one of the best QBs of all time (and I'm not even a Packers fan).
Hundreds Of Games WIth out Missing A Turn!!!!!!????????????????. I Worked With People That Couldn't Go To Work 5 Days A Week For Just A Month Without Calling In Sick. Sure Its Not Collisionball But He Is By Far One Of The Greatest To Play This Game Without Missing A Start.
