Well, if Cousins performs well from here on out, what do you do with him? I'm about 95% sure the Redskins are going to trade him short of Cousins throwing 35 TDs, 6 INTs with a 100+ QB rating and a trip to the NFC Championship game. As some on here have said, RG3 has become "too big to fail," and trading away the face of your franchise simply isn't a good look.

I hate to break it to you Skins fans, but I don't see RG3 ever becoming a good QB. Maybe he'll prove me wrong. He's a great athlete with a strong arm, but those aren't things that always translate into being a good QB. I thought he would come out smoking this season, but many of the criticisms Chris Cooley made of RG3 last year were evident during the pre-season as well as their season opener against the Texans.

They also ran double-stick five times in the game out of an empty formation; completed it once. I mean, these are EASY plays, that we can’t even get through our reads and complete. We can’t even get it to our premier guy. I’m pretty blown away by that.

His technique right now, as far as dropping and throwing the ball, is dreadful. He’s throwing high over and over and over again. He’s throwing behind guys, he’s missing guys, his accuracy is as low as I’ve seen from a guy who should be a very good quarterback. He is never taking a regular drop from under center. He is only taking awkward pistol drops and shotgun drops. And I believe if you want to evolve him as far as technique goes, it wouldn’t hurt to have him take a five-step drop from under the center. He’s never doing that. We’re never doing that. If they aren’t going to do that ever, they need to work on his technique. It’s like a golfer who moves his feet the entire time he swings….He has such happy feet when he’s in the pocket; even if he’s untouched, free in the pocket, he’s jumping, he’s stepping, he’s got legs flipping everywhere as he throws the ball, and I have such a hard time believing that he can be accurate in that fashion. And he’s not. He’s proving me right, every week. He’s inaccurate.
Cooley: Cousins a better pocket passer than RGIII - The Washington Post

The reason why the offense looked better yesterday wasn't because the O-Line did a much better job in protecting Cousins. He simply gets the ball out faster. And he's able to execute these simple plays on 3rd and 6 situations, which keeps the chains moving. Had RG3 been QBing yesterday, I'm confident you guys would have punted more than one time.

It doesn't surprise the Giants won. Redskins had a tough physical battle last week. I knew they wouldn't be physically ready on a really short week.

Giants only had the Texans and won easily.

Cousins - we will see how he adapts to teams adapting to him. Tonight... Not good.

Has an nfl team ever been totally destroyed two nights in a row before?

First on Wednesday they are humiliated on south park, then on Thursday they're humiliated by the giants.

South Park? does anyone over 30 even watch that show? how can a team be destroyed or humiliated by a cartoon that only a section of the public even knows of?

Bad games happen... and when you turn the ball over 6 times, your not going to win regardless of who you play. I suspect the Redskins and Cousins for that matter are NOT as bad as they played last night but don't the Redskins have the Seahawks next and then the Cardinals. To be honest, they are staring 1-5 dead in the eye... if they are out of the playoff hunt by the time RGIII gets healthy then it may not matter how good or bad Cousins is playing...

I have to believe that RGIII slept pretty good last night... JMO

After last night's performance the entire Sioux Nation is grateful to Simms for not associating the American Indian with that team.

I tend to agree with this. Simms probably is only doing this because he is NO FAN of the Redskins. He has been calling games for years, I know he used the Redskins name in those games and suddenly he has an epiphany because someone else said it was not cool!? Please. I am no fan of the Redskins but it pizzes me off to no end that the NFL would allow one of their franchises to be treated like this. If I was head of the league and a network dissed my franchise like this, I would say.. *********.. no more games for you!
