Yeah that was a really bad game all the way around. Very disappointing given how much was on the line. No one was insync and it was just an all around hot mess.
Better figure it out quick or Brees will cut them to shreds and NO will win by 21+.
Hopefully new ownership will put Mike Shula out on his ass on day 1.
Very questionable play calling at times, but the Panthers just dont have enough playmakers on the field. Funchess wasn't 100%....you have McCaffery and Olsen is a nice TE, but after that, its it...
Too many FG's and not enough TD's...
I don't think anyone was surprised at the outcome.
unfortunately it was 'Slow 'n Steady Cam' and not, 'Get The Lead Out Cam'
We were in position to win the game on the road, so I'll take whatever Cam you want to call it. Unfortunately the refs completely botched both the interception call and the intentional grounding to completely change the last drive and basically assure NO of the win.
Hopefully this offseason we revamp the line and get Cam a WR with speed and ability to catch. Losing Byrd hurt as did losing our other speedy WR. Having a RB that's got less mileage on the knees than Stewart would be great as well.
Should be a very interesting offseason for sure given the team is up for sale and we have an interim GM.
Although the Panthers won games and made a postseason appearance this season, they struggled on offense with a running game and receivers not stepping up to catch balls. Last season, Cam Newton was not showing up to win games. I wonder if these are legitimate reasons why the Panthers are moving on from Shula and Dorsey.
