He caught three passes in the game, two alone on that final drive, and celebrated the 23-20 overtime win over the Browns in the AFC championship game....
So Steve is in Pueblo, eh? There's another good and generous Christian gentleman, not a lot unlike Mr. Tebow.

I've read how TT invites some with medical challenges to be his guest at games. Well, 22+ years ago I was facing brain surgery and not expected to make it. While he never said anything about my illness, I suspect Steve heard about it from a friend of mine.

Two weeks before the surgery we were in Denver on a Saturday night before game day. (We were season ticket holders then.) Steve shows up at our hotel in his Ford Bronco and took us all (my wife and I plus another couple who Steve had briefly met on a commercial flight) out to a Mexican dinner, showed us around a bit (had trouble finding a Dairy Queen), then came back to our hotel for awhile to talk football. A great guy! (No, we didn't keep him up too late.)

I wonder how many other Broncos have done things like that to lift the spirits of their fans. It was a real treat for us and certainly took my mind off the serious issues I was facing.

That will be the first order of business for the defensive coaches is how you contain a tight end like Dan Gronkowski. In the previous matchup he still caught 4 balls for 50 something yards but it was Aaron Hernandez who came up big here. And with Wes Welker and Deion Branch as wideouts with Chad Johnson the extra, Tom Brady's air game is a huge concern here.

Kickoff in 25 minutes. A couple quick notes. At the start of this week the line on this game in Vegas started at New England and 13. This morning it is New England and 15.

An interesting stat I heard this morning on the NFL Network. It stated that Tim Tebow became the first quarterback since the AFL-NFL merger to throw 3 different pass completions in the same game.

GO BRONCOS!!

I thought the 14 point spread was insulting. Was I giving Denver too much credit?
