Just to warn everyone ahead of time, Vikings Packers in week 17 has been flexed to Sunday night. This will be the Packers' first Sunday night finale since 2006 at Chicago.

After watching, most of the first half yesterday, the Pack appears to be a team desperately trying to complete, but in reality is not competitive. Time to plan on rebuilding. I also think A. Rogers has something going on. Maybe his age is showing, he's missing open receivers, he threw that interception in the end zone when the receiver was completely covered, his passes are off and 6 sacks. He used to run or evade and find an open receiver on the run. Not anymore.
Packer fans really can't complain. The team has been very competitive for many years. But all these things go in cycles, and the down part of the cycle may have begun.
McCarthy has never benched Aaron Rodgers due to a poor performances as most other coaches do to other quarterbacks that played poorly.
McCarthy did the right thing and pulled Rodgers. It wasn't because Aaron was struggling. That offensive line is so beaten up they can't stop anybody. Replacing Tolzien is a lot cheaper and easier than replacing Rodgers.
Aaron said he did not want to come out of the game, not sure if that was for the press, for himself, whatever.
The O line got to be a revolving door yesterday. They are all battling injuries and I wonder at what point do you say enough? No excuses, all teams have injuries but there is life after football. Lang knows he needs shoulder surgery, Sitton and his back has been ongoing for more than a year or two.
This coming Sunday will be an interesting game, beating Vikings earlier this season doesn't mean much with the Packers playing the way they did yesterday.
Maybe that was all a big set up so AZ's guard is down when they see them again in 3 weeks!
In all seriousness that game was terrible. If they play like that they won't beat the Vikes and will probably be one and done in the playoffs.
Not sure what's up with the Pack this year. They've played through injuries before but missing Jordy has killed the offense. The backup receivers are no good. The D looks great at times then gives up a huge play.
What's with Cobb playing running back??? That doesn't make sense at all.
I still think if the team actually shows up they are a good team but it really seems like when they play a top talent team they just fall apart. THey are still in the playoffs though where anything can happen...
I can't wait to hear Sitton on his radio show this week, he doesn't hold back.
What all did he say? I tuned in at times when I could & heard him say he wishes they ran the ball more and he doesn't think the offense struggling is due to Jordy being out. Thinks the offense is predictable & opposing defenses know exactly what's coming when they play the Packers..
Yep, too predictable, Cobb always in the slot, J Jones on the edge, all teams have to do is blanket the WRs. It is very obvious and that is what teams are doing. The lack of speed doesn't help either, AZ coach mentioned the slowness of the WRs, ours not his!
I think going away from the run is a big mistake, huge. Brian Bulaga is on Larry McCarren's Show, tough job coming on after a huge ugly loss.
