This time of year is very stressful, uncomfortable and outright frustrating.

Too cold to go to the Summer house and too hot to stay in the winter house.

Frustrating as all get out.

I went to the teaching store and was upset that I couldn't buy the whole store; I settled for only a few items instead.

Banana bread French toast sounds very promising.

It turned out amazing! At first I was lamenting that all I had was bagels. And then I found the banana bread while rummaging in the fridge and thought, hmmmmmm.

I'm playing "Words With Friends" and I only have vowels. I could swap tiles but I don't want to lose a turn.

This isn't a funny one. My youngest daughter turned 26 yesterday and on her way to work totaled her two year old car. She wasn't hurt but she's upset, obviously. No word on her payoff yet. Hopefully she'll have enough left over for a decent down payment on another one.

I'll spend this Saturday with her looking for another car.

Glad to hear she is ok and unharmed.

Today there is a massive heat wave. Supposed to by upper 80s in my city. Where I live few people have AC, since historically we only get about 10 days a year over 80. With climate change or current weather patterns it is happening way more often and my apartment traps the heat in.

We have an overnight team building event for work, and where we are headed is even warmer - 90s. I hope they have A/C or I am going to be really cranky at work tomorrow.

I lived in Danville last year. Months of triple digit temperatures, no AC, and the apartment trapped heat in, and faced the sun.

It was a relief when it was "only" 90 degrees INSIDE at 2 am. Many nights I'd fall asleep in front of an open fridge/freezer or in a a tub of ice cold water. Both bad ideas (the husband just about had my head when he caught me sleeping in a filled bathtub), but I was desperate.

I'm really looking forward to moving to Canada once my citizenship papers get sorted out. I just cannot deal with hot weather.

That's because he's probably watched all those Investigation Discovery shows and knows he'd be blamed if "something" should happen, especially if that wine glass is sitting there.
