Can anyone tell me where I can buy the foam to replace the cushions on my boat? I boat some at Joann's today just to see if I was able to do it, and I was successful LOL. But was hoping I could find some place to buy the foam, for cheaper.

I was going to suggest JoAnn Fabrics. That is the only place I know of. I wonder if the new Hobby Lobby that is coming to North Port would have it. Your best bet for a cheaper price might be online. Try something like -

Yeah, there is a boat repair yard on Taylor Avenue, in Punta Gorda. ((Sorry don't remember the name, but they do really great work)). If you are coming down from the north, Turn left on Taylor Avenue. Drive about 2-3 miles. They are on your right hand side as you're heading to Walmart. They restore a lot of boats there. The husband and wife are nice people, and she does all the upholstery work, and does all the Bimini Tops, and the clear plastic window surrounds. I'm sure if you just want to buy something, and do it yourself, they can help you out with that as well.

Any re-upholstery business will be able to sell you the foam. Get the good stuff! I like the "pass-thru" foam (looks like swiss cheese). It allows water to pass through the foam and out the bottom of the cushion, assuming you make the bottom out of a mesh. This prevents mold in the cushion.
