I'll give $5 to anyone that can show a pic of at least 10 workers working at the same time on this project.

This is pathetic. Are we on the year-per-half-mile plan? We all should know It won't be done next year.

I could understand if these were union workers but..... J/K

What is happening is that the same construction company that is assigned to Edgewater is also working on other cash paying jobs, which they can pay their bills with, ...and as they get done with a piece of equipment at their other jobs they are parking them on Edgewater, so it looks like they are doing something....and they can park it there free...it is a very common practice...

Does anyone know what the cost to the contractors is for going past schedule? Per month, per year? I would hope someone in our county had the foresight to put in such a penalty? LOL...

Wait! Your suggesting that the next phases of the sewer expansion and Edgewater widening in the same area aren't just coincidence??!!

ID:	169252This is the view from the Spring Lake bridge looking west towards Midway. If you look really, really close somewhere in the picture you'll see ELEVEN workers there this morning, all in the stretch between Midway and the Spring Lake bridge. And, when I was done peddling my bicycle around the boat launch area and headed back towards Midway I counted 14! Well, that was 14 workers present; not necessarily working. Glad to see they have their priorities straight; most of the work was grading the area between the south-side sidewalk and road bed. There were two guys on heavy equipment grading the roadbed but most of them were working on the sidewalk project.

ID:	169251 This is the view looking east across the Spring Lake bridge. Another piece of heavy equipment was being delivered. Other than that, I didn't see any road work being done.

I've been saying it for years... besides the MUCH needed extra revenue for CCU, the end goal is to get sewer hookup access to Murdock Village, which this will do when completed. The county thinks this will significantly increase the value and attraction for a prospective buyer, all at the taxpayers expense of course.
