Is it possible to get into the Spring Lake park area to launch or is it closed?

Still open. Best to access it from Lake View Blvd. Actually, I think that's the only way to access it. You can still make the left only Edgewater, drive around some construction signs and barrels, and park in the regular lot. When I was there this past week on my bicycle there were 3 or 4 trucks with trailers sitting in the lot.

asking questions on the go ep2 website I get all different answers. first about when the sunrise bridge would start I was told " 2/16"
then
"sidewalks and median will start probably be when the roadway and bridges are finished roughly a year from now. "

"The Sunrise bridge will start when the WSL bridge is ready for the deck"

now
"The contractor will work on the Spring Lake Bridges until nearly complete before beginning work on the Sunrise Waterway Bridge"
