Looking for a restaurant that also plays live music. Something teen-friendly(13 yrs old). Nothing too $$$$ or fancy....$15/20 range.
THanks!

Irregardless Cafe' has live music on certain nights. It would be teen-"friendly" but I think a teen would probably be bored.

There are very few places to take teens.... but Wild Wings over at Brier Creek lets teens stay for live music as long as they are with adults and stay away from the bar. There is no cover.

Lincoln Theatre has all ages shows. Teens do not have to be "with" adults per se, but I usually hang out upstairs. most times a cover/ticket is required. Not a restaurant.

Blue Bayou has been known to have teen nights on Thursdays, but all under 21 have to leave by 10pm. recently the cover has been in donation form, not a restaurant

There are a few other places that are teen friendly like the free concerts put on in Downtown Raleigh and Last Fridays in Hillsborough.

What type/genre of music?

Are you looking for a place to have a decent dinner, with music in the background (Irregardless fits this bill) or a place for a teen to hear a band?

I agree with Francois that teens would be totally bored with the music at Irregardless. (I love it.)

Shuckers in Wake Forest - Music Wednesday, Friday, and Sat evenings on their patio

Pipers Tavern has Acoustic Guitar music on there porch most Fridays.

Oliver twist serves tapas and has various music acts during the week.

Broadstreet Cafe in Durham - Great Pizza / Fantastic Music Acts most nights of the week.

North Seafood Bistro in Raleigh has music on Tuesday evening and some weekends.

I can think of a few others but it would help to know where you are and what kind of music you a re looking for.

Those who think there aren't many options just don't know where to look. With a little digging you can find several places to choose from.

Thanks all! I am going to check them all out..want to go tomorrow night(Sat.)

N. Raleigh Guy--We are in Clayton and the music does not matter. Daughter just wants to go to dinner where there is "Live" music being played..thinks it would be "cool". She likes all music..jazz, country, classic rock, beach-music etc. Not your typical teen when it comes to music..likes everything.
