There's another good video out there called "Decidedly Durham", but I think it's only available to watch (for free) on iTunes. Here's an old thread about it.
"Decidedly Durham" -- video on Durham life
Scorp, I understand your frustration. That "Welcome to Durham" video certainly does not show what life is like for a high majority of the people living in Durham. And there's a whole hell of a lot more to the town than the Duke Lacrosse case. But unfortunately, there simply aren't a lot of videos on YouTube for Durham. Maybe you could help fix that problem.
Interestingly enough, some of the videos on YouTube that say they are of Raleigh are actually videos of Durham! Just watch that first video titled "Tour of Raleigh NC" & you'll see what I mean. Almost the entire thing was shot in Durham.

I need a camera...thanks for posting the Decidedly Durham one!

I do not mean to be a constant battling force for Durham here, folks, but I do feel the need to passionately defend it when generalizations are made about it. Especially when the generalizations are made by an authority on the forum, though they may mean well and not mean or understand the cost of these generalizations.
