Any fast food joint that gets an outparcel there will clean up during breakfast, and dinner....but not so much during lunch...complete opposite of the places in RTP that make a killing during lunch.
I used to like looking at the sign on the wall inside of one of the fast food places there on 54 in RTP. It told the number of cars serviced at their drive through during the day, broken down to lunch and dinner. Monday through Friday, they were extremely busy for lunch. On the weekends, they hardly served anyone at all (some days they had 0!), and it was about the same with dinner hours. I remember at a time, when a lot of places in RTP didn't even keep regular dinner hours.
Ten bucks says the Harris Teeter will have a small Starbucks inside pretty much guaranteeing no independent coffee place will open in the same shopping center. If other Harris Teeter anchored shopping centers are any indication you can probably expect some combination of the following uninspired vendors.
Mattress Store
Frozen Yogurt Shop
Cheap Nail Salon
Smoker Friendly
Onsite Shipping Store
Not sure WHAT nail salon you've been going to but they sure ain't CHEAP!!!
I drove by the construction yesterday. It's not coming along nearly as fast as I expected. Looks like most major construction is done, but there's still a long way to go. So, August sounds about right.
But I bet when McDonalds decides to put up an outparcel in front, they'll have it built and open in less than 2 months! They throw those things up like mobile homes!
Looks like they have room for several small stores. I'd guess some kind of hair cutting place/salon will be one. I'd like to see decent Chinese takeout....also not a stretch to actually happen. The way Dunkin Donuts has been spreading around here lately, one of those wouldn't surprise me either.
