With all due respect, I'm not looking for a real estate agent ... at all.
I am just looking for some general information on undesirable neighborhoods in the Raleigh-Durham region. If you were to move out here, I could tell you, with GREAT distinction, which neighborhoods to completely stay away from.
Is this just a real estate, try-to-find-a-new-lead forum? If so, maybe I'm in the wrong place.
Thanks anyway.
Seriously,
Stay away from Giverny, Cary, NC 27513
You might not care for some of the people that live in that neighborhood...
Now, if you tell us what you're looking for instead of what you're not looking for, then we might really be able to help!
Truer words were never spoken. Today after work I drove from Downtown Raleigh to Fuquay to give a coworker who's car is in the shop a ride home. On my way back north I took a detour on Ten Ten Road to Route 1 and then on to I40 and I-540 back to North Raleigh (My Route is below). I had no clue where I was half the time. This area is HUGE. Totally impossible to summarize in just one small post where all the good areas are and where all the bad areas are located. If you can give more specifics about what you are looking for, you will get more specific responses and help.

Oh stop. Velvetpie (is that meant to sound so dirty?), here is the problem with your question...
Real estate agents can't answer your question as to what is a "bad" neighborhood because "bad" is in the eyes of the beholder. Or, you are asking about crime or race or kids or one of the other protected classes of people.
Most of the folks on this Forum can't really say which are the "bad" neighborhoods because its hard to generalize and they don't want to upset anyone that lives in what YOU could consider to be a bad neighborhood.
Make sense?
Perhaps you'll get more answers if you tell us what you are looking for in a neighborhood, location close to where you'll be working and perhaps how much you have in your budget. Then, people will chime in and give you their opinions of what is desireable to them.
See? I'm not mean!!! This is the 2nd time today that I've been nice!!!
