Bought apple pie at Whole Foods in Chapel Hill.

Got it home and found it is an unidentifiable berry pie.

Check your pie before departing the store.

This has been a Thanksgiving public service announcement.

Thanks for the heads up, but we're good. We don't buy anything but Mrs. Smith's frozen pumpkin pies.

Fruit pies= Nasty (except for some blueberry pies)

Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Pie, Cheesecake (called cake but really a pie)= Amazing

I realize I could be called a communist for not liking apple pie; but it is slimy and gross. Pumpkin pie is the staple pie for Thanksgiving; I'm sure you can still find one somewhere!

I must have my apple pie, so I'll try to return it tomorrow (ouch, the crowded parking lot). I haven't had slimy apple pie, just pie full of delicious fruit gifts

Hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream is yummy! I enjoy pumpkin pie, as well.

If you want to make your own apple pie, all you do is slice the apples, mix them with some sugar, cinnamon, and a few other ingredients, toss them into a pie crust and bake.

People RAVE about that apple pie and it is so easy to make! Ok, ok, I know some of you WANT to buy your pie so go ahead! Happy Thanksgiving!

Vicki

Pie isn't pie unless the entire thing, especially the crust, is made from scratch.

You should see the pie I make. You'd die.

Garrison Keillor has a bit where he calls Pumpkin Pie the epitome of mediocrity. "There is very little difference between the best pumpkin pie you've ever had and the worst pumpkin pie you've ever had."
