I am very pleased we got our calendar option for middle school. We had really good odds based on younger sibling in year-round, but it is still stressful.
The waitlists are evaluated before the hardship request period, right? More waiting..... I wonder how all of us on the waitlist will fare? RDUBiker... do you have to decline the wait list for your first choice to be accepted into your second choice? How does that work?

I honestly do not know. I'll reply to the 2nd choice (who sent me an email) and see if they can tell me for sure.
I think this application process have been better than the magnet process. Because I'm reading that most of us is getting in their choices. . we still wait listed in #21 for our magnet 1st option. But if we don't get in, we are happy with our calendar option acceptance. . Congraxxxx.

Thanks, but not really. It doesn't say how long it takes to find out if a waitlisted position gets chosen or denied. At some point in the realistically "soon" future, we'll need to decide where she's going and tell her. She keeps asking if it's decided yet and if she's joining her friends or not.

At the end we will have to wait until June for wcpss final review. Wait, wait + wait.
