I couldn't get a good look over my left shoulder today, bit it looks like they tore up the concrete pad for the one on Davis Drive. Lot's of activity there. Wonder if they're resizing.

They already reduced the size of it to 103,000 sf...no way they stop at this point and change it again. Would require filing a new development site plan with the town (which they haven't done) and extended delays. Has to be a redo to fix a construction issue.
I'll see if I can get a closer look. Unfortunately I only take Davis on my way home heading south. Seems like I saw the whole pad covered with dirt so I assumed it was tore up.
Yes. At first I didn't realize that they weren't operational because I saw plain clothed people walking in and employees stocking shelves.
The security guy at the entrance was busy with contractors and just let me slip by. When I went to the checkout lane, a lady stopped me and said that they weren't opened yet and nicely escorted me to the exit.
They haven’t poured any concrete yet. It’s always been a compacted gravel surface. They’re doing below ground work for stuff like plumbing, electrical and the foundation footings.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I thought the pad was concrete this whole time.
I had to get off i40 at exit 291 this morning and noticed some heavy equipment clearing trees and the early stages of site prep off to the right as I drove toward Maynard.
This one will be #3 apparently.
Best,
Dave
