I teach middle school Social Studies in Durham. From what I've heard of Wake county, I'd recommend teaching there. It is easier to get a job teaching in Durham, though. Wake county has higher supplement pay. Have you been teaching in Detroit?

Just curious why you recommend teaching in Wake over Durham?

Teachers are paid a LOT less here in NC than in MI (although I don't know about charter schools in MI). I used to live in MI before I started teaching.
