... glad to see no one has 'fessed up to the hot gossip!
Heh... be afraid. Be very afraid.
Then make sure to be there next time
I'm also happy to have chosen the two tallest people to hide behind in the group photo.... don't you think I didn't have that planned.
Special shout out to zitsky, a fellow Penninsula/South Bay transplant, and from Mr. Weblackey a tip 'o' the hat to Mrs. GucciLittlePiggie, a compatriot from Chelmsford MA. Never know who you'll run into.
We had a blast, and it was really cool to put faces with usernames. I will confess that having to introduce yourself as GucciLittlePiggie in person is actually sort of embarassing. I also enjoyed having a pint of all 5 beers on tap (which I'm sure everyone else enjoyed witnessing as well...)
For the record, if you click on my name and view public profile, my blue suede shoes have been featured on here for nearly a year....

What weblackey doesn't mention is that she was actually wearing white pants; they just looked blue because of the glow from GucciLittlePiggie's SHOES...!
I really wish I didn't miss this great event. I fell in with my NC Confederate reenacting unit to participate in the Battle of New Bern (on the brand new bridge) and it was a great time, but I would have liked the meetup immensely. Will try extra hard to make the next one. I opted for the battle strictly as it entailed fund-raising for a Civil War battle flag preservation effort we are married to.
And I proudly own 23 different pairs of Chuck Taylor hi-tops, none of which are white, navy or black. I guess I'd fit right in with some of you.
