It's a cute house! Looks like it was built in the 50s. It is NOT a "tiny house" - they are half that size.

I think it's large enough for two - and your pets.

It looks well kept. I think it's plenty big. Any inside pictures?

Smile 800 sf

Tarajane:
I'm from Florida - my husband was born and raised in Miami, FL - the home he grew up in the 1960's was a 3/1 but he was 750 SF. It was his mom, dad and him.

This looks like a cute home, though, and would provide you with what you need.

How much is the home?

I don't think you are crazy for doing it.

See if you can do a google search for the tv shows about tiny houses. I think they were running for a few weeks on HGTV. They may even be in videos of the show.

How about youtube videos. When you see the people in the house and maybe a dog, mattresses, hear their opinions you kind of notice more...like stove size, how much storage you will realllly need.

Then there's the one floor ones and ones with a loft. Some people like tiny houses but with full size stoves and refrigerators. Some styles make the bathrooms unnecessarily large...but some people really like the extra space. For some, the bathroom doors are left open as the bathroom provides a walk thru space.

You can figure single floor square footage by length x width. So maybe figure that out in your own home, placing furniture or something to make blocks to shorten some space as needed for the feel for what you'd get.

These arent tiny homes as seen on HGtv. Try to watch when available Tiny Homes Big Living. Not sure it would work for me as very claustrophobic but better people than I are doing this and kind of envy them..

It's the size of a two bedroom apt, 800 sq ft. Not too small for a couple at all. If that's what you want, and can afford, go for it.
