OMG love the pictures! Hahahaha...epecially that first one..tough guy turkey lol.
Just woke up...forgot to take a pain pill last night so getting up was BAD. Actually did not forget, we were out to dinner and had margaritas..Dang they were the best I have had in years...so..didn't think it best to take the pain meds but now wish I had..oh well..had a wonderful dinner with sissy and hub, Carl, my brother in law's bro and wife and their kids...Also a new friend who is the local weatherman on tv and his partner, Cindy and I have been chatting with him on FB for a while and they joined us..we had a lot of fun, lots of laughs..
The portrait adventure was good..we got a preview of them almost immediately and ordered what we thought we needed for us, the folks and our kids, also got Christmas Cards of carl and I..
Anyway, Amy safe travels, I always hate driving on Holidays but you must be getting close to your destination now.. Where are you staying once you get there, do you have a little place on your property now, I should remember this but my mind is shot.
Speaking of shots, Shel hope you are feeling better...hard to tell if the symptoms are from the immunization or not..I think with your line of work you did the right thing in getting it If I were still working at the high school, I would be first in line. Kids breathing and coughing all over ya all the time..I used to ask some of them 'were you raised in a friggin barn?'. My immunity got built up over time but those damn kids standing over my desk sneezing all over me..Take a tissue for cryin out loud, I always had them sitting there. Ugh.
Ok still waking up here. Happy Thanksgiving and will catch up with posts in a bit..more coffee...more coffee...

Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving everyone.
What I am thankful for? I am thankful for the presence of Jesus Christ in my life, that he provides for me even when I let doubt set in.
Barb: the shot symptoms are gone! FYI: A doctor told me that if you were around in the 50's you probably have a natural immunity to H1N1 because a similar flu attacked North and South America. Most people were exposed and built up an immunity to it! It's the younger people (under 40) who are suffering from this flu...20's-40's!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!! My assistant just IM'd me that my reservations are at 5:30 for turkey dinner! Dang we used to always have it earlier and my mouth is already watering.
Hope everyone has a great day - I unfortunately have to go to the office but was trying to time it so I went in the afternoon closer to eating time, but . . .
Lorrie sorry about Willow and never ending surgeries. Hope they do the trick though and she's feeling better. XXOO
Well girls this is going to be short 'cause think I have a crisis to deal with - well not crisis but today not a holiday here and my assistant is IMing me about what I need to deal with. No rest for the weary.
So everyone out there have a great day, enjoy your families (or at least the ones that are worthy lol), win big on the slots and be thankful for the good things we do have in our lives! Hugs to all of you.
