Yep, the amount of the cylinders doesn't necesarily dictate how much an engine uses gas, the size of the intake manifold and how much fuel flows through the entrire intake system dictates a lot of gas usages... hence a v6 could be a gas hog...

But on the flip side, when we have to get out of the way, we's get the hell out of the way, if you know what I'm saying......

I have toyed with the idea of a v6 Stang. I really like that 4.6 engine. My Lincoln gets 26 to 28 on the highway and around town mixed driving I have been getting 21 to 23 MPG lately.

I have a company vehicle for work, so I don't really think about gas too much... mostly just weekend and evening use....

If I had to commute and pay for that mo fo.... things would change in a hurry..........

I know what you mean. The miles I log, I was thinking Focus. Not so much cost of gas, it is keeping the old girl running.

My buddy called me up right when I got home from work and said his wife's niece was in town and needed someone to show her a good time. So I did.

Now she wants to make out, err...I mean, go out again Saturday night. Guess I should call sometime tomorrow and cancel the date I already had lined up.
