2:3 of my friends are married, my brother's married, and hell if they aren't married, they're in talks of being married. So people are asking me when I am going to marry, including a girl from my past.
But thing is, I don't even want to consider marriage right now, or if ever
I enjoy my freedom right now(no offense to anyone married) and I got tons to do(like finish school, pursue a career, and get myself settled somewhere) and well marriage is just not something I am in the boat for.

Guess I had to get that out the way.
I am 33, no children, single, still working on my career and life goals but I have absolutely no desire to get married. If you or anybody could please give some strong, rational reasons why a person like me should get married, I will definitely consider it!

If you're just talking, fine, talk away. But a message board isn't a place to decide such a major thing as marriage. How old are you? Nothing wrong with being single--forever if you like.

If you don't feel like you're ready for marriage then don't enter into it until you're real sure. I think sometimes people at any age rush into marriage too soon and then realze they've made a mistake.
Yep, making a pledge to not marry would be silly. Just take it as it comes, you may meet Mrs. Perfect at the mall next Wednesday then you'd be in a quandary to keep your pledge or marry the girl of your dreams.

Oh, I don't know about that, Rakin. There are a few people here who would be doing the world a favor by never marrying. They should take an oath on all they consider holy not to. Ever.
I mean I'll have a gf and all, but as far as marrying, not anytime soon. I doubt I'll meet the right one seeing as I have no idea who the right one is except things I don't like in a girl.

big difference between being single and being unmarried
postponing marriage is good. if you have romantic interests, everytime a gal becomes a girlfriend, she is protecting her man from a 1/2 million dollar divorce. she deserves a thank you note from every one of us.
If you don't want kids at all - sure... don't get married.
If you want kids, and don't mind having a higher chance of birth defects, then by all means wait until you are 40.
