lol@ "coffee".. what is she 40.. what people that age meet up for "coffee"
like she's a sleep deprived milf or something. no to the coffee. and dont tell her she's cute
also dont use the "oh my friends are waiting for me" crap if you go up and ask for 1 movie ticket LOLOL she'll be like "what friends? i just saw u walk in alone you a--hole"
start up a quick convo, dont tell her she's cute. and instead of the 'my friends are waiting' crap just say ur movie's gona start and u wana keep talking to her and ask for her number.
Then if you are successful I STRONGLY suggest watching "The D.E.N.N.I.S System" episode of "It's always sunny in Philadelphia"
matter of fact, watch that episode first. THEN approach her.
good luck bro
Leave out the "you're cute" part and it's good and simple. More of a chance she'll say no though, because:
1. people in the service industry get hit on and asked out more often when they are at work and she might just be tired of it
2. she's at work and feels gross and not pretty/sexy
but that doesn't matter at all. you should still go for it. I always think you should go for it even if your chances are really bad and in this situation they aren't too bad.
oh and the movie thing is not funny at all and she probably hears it all the time. Not trying to be a hater, but there are things I hear all the time at work that people think are super funny and they are NOT and it makes me want to shoot them in the face. (haha?) Don't be cheesy whatever you do.
Compliment something about her - not her overall, 'I really like that tattoo or ring' 'where did you have that done?' or whatever - just something specific as an opener.
Then ask her if she'd like to go to the movies with you on some specific night.
