I live in a rather large condo complex, it has underground parking, I was walking through the parking lot and it was eerily quiet. There's usually people coming and going and seems to always be some activity or noises... We have neighbor all around us with little babies and a few have some toddlers.
Weird, it felt like I was on the set of some George Romero end of the world type of movie......
Then I decided to go and see Biutiful (btw, I was wondering why it was intentionally misspelled; the answer is IN the movie). It's very gritty and grim and yet, a great movie! The performance of Javier Bardem and the whole cast is outstanding! T
Must be a limited release...it isn't showing here. But I love Javier!
We just checked the weather where our house is located - and I'm so bummed that we cannot retire yet!
2 days ago, the temp was 70, it's 60 today, going down to a mild 34 and then back up by the end of the week.
I'm sitting here with my husband having shoveled a path for the kitty to go outside and do her business - I'm a shopper and I've been to the market only once each of the last 3 weeks even though this is my normal stocking up for the year time (because of sales) but the snow has kept me nearly housebound! I HATE IT!
I want to be south! Warm. Some place where I don't have 3 thermal blankets and a quilt on the bed wearing fleecy PJs and 2 pair of socks. I hate PJs. I have finally joined the ranks of "I HATE SNOW" people. I feel like I live in Buffalo!
I feel for ya. I hate hate HATE being house-bound - no matter what the reason. I love snow, but only in small infrequent doses. I know I wouldn't want to live any further north than I do now. I love skiing, but I'm a sunshine gal.
