Ok you don't sound too familiar with it, must not be used much in the US.

If someone referred to me as "a spunk" (as I know it), I would smack them upside the head.

I've heard of calling someone spunky-as a sort of cross between spazz and funky, but around here spunk is the product of ejaculation.

Cute is average level attractive, but the personality is in the mix,too probably and the man finds it attractive along with the face. Cute could also refer to the body, depending on what is being worn.

Hot/Sexy is Victoria Secret model level attractive, and no one cares about the personality for the moment. A rockin' face and body will do.

Pretty is above average level attractive and more approachable than the previous two mentioned. Cute is kind of ho-hum, that's nice. Hot/Sexy can be a little intimidating. But Pretty is probably pretty non-threatening and the most appealing for a lot of males.

Just to clarify davenz, being described as spunky or full of spunk is a positive thing because it describes someone as spirited, but being called "a spunk" automatically has me thinking of the slang of spunk, which K-Luv alluded to and doesn't sound complementary to my ears.

Yeah I'd agree with the cute means your face whereas hot means your body.

I've never gotten a hot or a sexy but I did get a got damn once. Made my day

Cute is when you're innocent, younger looking, and petite. Example: there are a lot of cute 16/17 year old girls, could also be an 18-22 year old that looks younger...there are 22 year olds that look younger than me

Hot is when you don't look innocent but you're attractive and busty. Example: a 25 year old porn star

Pretty is when you're past the age where people expect you to be attractive, but you managed to stay attractive. Example: a 35 year old MILF
