Good time to book for travel online is NOT during the holidays. Sometimes airflights or Greyhounds can be pretty cheap. You got plenty of time to save money for it. I'm sure your great love for her should motivate you to be the "Knight" that you are to sweep that damsel off her feet!
At 18 and not having had a real boyfriend yet, she doesn't know anything about being in a real romance. She's not mature enough emotionally to deal with someone who is 30 years old. And at 18, what she thinks she wants now in a boyfriend is going to change a lot as she gets older as she experiences more of life first hand.
And being so emotionally immature, you could be doing real harm to her emotionally and mentally because you have spent so much time on online correspondence and no time spent in each others company. And you work so hard to be Mr. Perfect for her which will never jive with the real you she finally meets. It's like taking your very favorite and oft read novel and then years later seeing the film version of it. It never matches up.
She is happy to meet me...I just have to have enough travel funds and vacation time saved up, neither of which I have enough of at the moment, to visit her at present.
I'm getting my threads mixed up here but it's all the same anyway. Don't have money to go and meet her? Take out a loan. Don't have enough vacation time accrued? Take some unpaid time off. Unless she's in a foreign country (is she?), you can do a quick interstate hop over a weekend or even in a day depending on location. What's important here?

If as I said several times now, I'm not pursuing her for physical reasons, where's the harm, and what's so bad about it? I'm *not* looking to "corrupt" her...why can't you understand that?
Knight! Pay attention please. It is not US you have to convince. Clearly we are talking about her parents, family and friends. The ones who know her and love her will be most judgemental about you and likely to consider you a predator initially.

Lol, of course I would want the above (meant in a PG-rated way) But until she and I can actually do that...love in terms of words, are enough for me.
