My family is from the south and my uncle used to raise bees and harvest the honey as a hobby. Another hobby he indulged was moonshine. Used to get a mason jar of each in the mail every year for Christmas before he passed. I miss him lol
My uncle worked for Miller's fer 35 years. Always had a frig full of cold beer down in the basement family room.
I always get a kick out of my friends who come to visit me from Brooklyn. My great friends just left an hour ago. They stopped by our house on the way to the wedding in Key West. It's fun to hear them going crazy when they see all the amenities we have, like the tennis court and sand volleyball court and hot tub. It's a paradise to them with clear blue sky and palm trees everywhere. They don't realize that there are some negative aspects to living here...
Anyway, it was so nice having them here, watching them take a dip in the pool and taking a drive to Everglades. I'm glad that I'm able to show them a good time while they are here and feel sorry to see them leave.
