I used to have a list.

I ran it through the (virtual) shredder years ago when I got engaged to my non college educated boyfriend with kids.

Since that ended, I'm probably a bit more selective about who I date than I used to be but there are no hard and fast rules. For me, it's about basic compatibility and there are many ways people can be compatible. Unfortunately there are many more ways for people to be incompatible

There, you finally said it. You don't know what you want. I suspect you would accept a whole lot less in a boyfriend than what you stated on your list, if you could only find a guy that was interested in you. Give it some time, and change your attitude a bit and maybe things will change for you. I don't think many guys are seriously interested in a woman with a strong will, most guys want a help mate, not a mother.
