Never mind the fact that some people do age quite well.

What I meant is we're not going to stay attractive forever. When someone says "He/she looks good for 60," they're not saying he/she is attractive. They're just saying he/she looks young for 60.

When I'm not attractive anymore, I'd be more than willing to date attractive people. But they might not be interested in me. Hell, I'm young and attractive now but young attractive people aren't interested in me.

While we might have the rest of our lives to date, we don't have the rest of our lives to be attractive/date attractive people.

What's the point of dating if you're old and you can only get unattractive old people? I'd rather stay single in that case.

Unless your name is Hugh Hefner, you can't date young attractive people forever.

I supose he means he doesn't want to be popular among 40-year old women at 40. I mean who isn't? 40+year olds are always making suggestive comments and try to get as touchy as they can get away with,
while 20-30-year old women might treat you like something the cat dragged in.

So doesn't that tell you something about the validity of basing relationships on physical attractiveness?

That's good - there will be less contamination of the gene pool.

Let's see ... company, someone to talk with, someone to share life with, someone to bury you, someone to have sex with ...

Yes, I'm sorry - unattractive people have sex too. I know it isn't exactly a pleasant image, but there it is.

That does it! I'm changing my name to Hugh Hefner.

It's a funny thing, but as I get older, I find that women around my age look a lot more attractive than women of this age looked to me 10 years ago.

I also find that the young women are looking less attractive. It may have something to do with how maturity (theirs and mine) affects my perception. Now, I don't find 18 y.o.'s attractive. Decade by decade, my lower age limit for real attraction has crept upwards, to about 21-22! (J.K. - it's more like 30.)
