This is about a friend. cough cough Ok, the friend is seeing this girl who lives in another state. He flies out for a few days to see her. All goes well and the next month he flies out to see her for a week. Towards the end of the visit, the girl receives a bunch of happy anniversary balloons from someone else. What would you think if you were that guy?
It's not a matter of what you think, but rather what they were really for and the only way to know that is to ask her what they were for and if you had any feeling about her answer then address it then.

That's just it, opinion and speculation is a game of non communication and a way to really screw stuff up with someone else and your own head. Best to be direct in these situations rather than play speculation games. I dated a speculator and he was always wrong about what he was thinking and opining about and it was so stressful being around him it's what destroyed that relationship.

Did you ask her about it, or just act like nothing had happened?
Ok, seems pretty obvious. Now, how would you feel about that? Would you visit her again, knowing that she is seeing someone else and you would have to fly there?
