I suspect there are many folks who'd prefer spending time with a wagging tail as opposed to a wagging tongue.

Well they do say all men are dogs...........
"They" who? There are many of us gals here that have clearly stated that we LOVE men. As interesting as a talking dog might be, clearly, it couldn't provide the kind of intimacy and companionship that I enjoy with my guy.

I provide my dog with food, shelter and love. She gives me unwavering companionship and would take a bullet for me or attack a burglar without flinching. She's my best friend and appreciates everything I do for her. The same cannot be said for the girls I've dated...

Dogs are great companions, But nothing substitutes for human companionship. People need to be with other people, whether it's an intimate relationship ot deep friendship(S)

I don't know.. My current GF is wonderful but our dog reminds me of the "throw the ball, throw the ball" dog with ADHD from the Dr Dolittle movie.. He's a riot but I would wanna talk to him.

People have definitely missed the point. OP said "talking with a dog" vs a relationship.

No where did that mention sex. Just talking with a dog is like having a roommate you talk with when you're in the house.

It would be nice to talk to your dog sometimes when you can tell they understand you and you wonder what they think about what you're saying.

But that's just it...talking.

Intimacy and a relationship are different things.

this should be interesting........oh, explain why.
LMAO. Great topic.

Think I'd like to have chicks to bang, then come home to "mans best friend" and talk about the chicks I bang.
