I'd rather spend time with a talking dog - if it's my dog

I always wonder what she understands and what she's heard my SILs say about me

In a relationship for sure!

The only thing I imagine my dog saying is:

"treats"
"play the blankie game with me"
"squirrel"
"cat"
"I think it's time to lick my penis again"
"FOOD!"

No thanks!

Relationship. Dogs just can't fill in that intimacy I want with another human being.

Somehow I just don't think the conversations would be very in depth with a dog.

The best part about a dog is the fact that they cannot talk!! He just is my quiet bud that goes along with everything I say.

Right now, sometimes I think my dog. He's very human like and it's weird sometimes. He's not a come here/do what I say dog. He comes when's he's ready and does what he wants kind of dog. Most dogs do what you tell them.

I've talked to him enough to where I know he understands me and what I'm saying and sometimes I'll look at his face and I'm sure he's thinking something that would be some decent conversation.

Talking dog, but I'm old and have had my fill of relationships that seemed like they were going to be oh-so-fulfilling, but weren't . . .
