I had this problem once and I realized that that issue was that I was overdoing it a little on the carbs. I'm not sure what your carb intake is like, but you might want to try that.
Interesting you said that, as I am starting the South Beach Diet phase 1 on Sunday. I am only doing phase 1 to see how my carb intake is afecting my results. My carb intake right now is super high. Dominicans are all about the rice. Wish me luck as I try to survive 2 weeks without it. Rice is like crack to me

You can do it. I'm a couple islands over (well, via your next door neighbor) and we love rice as well. On Jan. 1 I went from, I dunno, a pound or more of rice a day to a liquid diet with no rice (and damn near no carbs) at all. I am down more than 25 lbs in less than a month.
