There does exist a subculture of men that goes after "big" women and is attracted to them for what they are, though.

WHAT they are? Perhaps some men like bigger women for WHO they are. The day my husband and I got married in 2006 I weighed 225 pounds, today I weigh 150 pounds however, he did not know me at the highest weight of 650+ pounds. I did not have surgery, do weight watchers, jenny craig or anything like that. I decided for myself one day that I did not want to live like I was any longer so I changed my entire lifestyle but I did it for MYSELF and no one else.

BIG can mean different things though, it can mean physically big as in a very tall woman who is physically built to her height, it can mean overweight a little or a lot, it can mean tall and overweight, it can mean tall and thin.

My point is making a general statement and referring to someone as "what" they are is in my opinion pretty shallow and biased. Getting to know someone for "who" they are no matter "how" they look is the way I choose to do things but to each his own.

What I absolutely LOVE (as sarcastically as possible) is a man who is obviously obese with the beer belly hanging out of the bottom of his untucked shirt looking over his man boobs spewing about how FAT some gal is.

Hello???? Looked in the mirror lately????

No joke, I've actually had men tell me that.

One of the reasons my ex and I broke up was because, and I quote, "I'm embarrassed to be seen with you in public". He said it was because I look like a caricature and he was afraid that his friends would think he was dating a sl*t. Lovely, eh?

Good riddance in my opinion, you definitely deserve much better.

WOW on the twins, do you have physical issues relating to size? My friend has larger twins and she has all kinds of shoulder, neck and back issues and she is a tall woman who is not physically built small.

I'm grateful for my 38B that are perfect for my physical frame and definitely never thought about increasing anything surgically. I have wondered how much pain would be involved to get rid of this 3 babies born pooch (if that is what it is called). Anyway, have a great day and I hope you find a good man who deserves you as you are.

Typo? If you had come down from that weight you would need excess skin removal surgery......

Hope you dont mind me asking you to speak more on how you went about losing the weight for those in a similar predicament. Hopefully, someone will benefit from your story and change whatever it is that is contributing to their situation

Not a typo and it has taken me about 13 years to get down to the 150 I am today. Change of lifestyle and walking. The body issues that linger are slowly going away with the treadmill and exercise so I know I will get there without the surgery it will just take a long time and I know it won't be perfect but I'm good with imperfection.

Seriously? I can't imagine it's even humanly possible for a woman of this height to get up to 650 lbs... If it is, she must be completely immobile. I would think the max would be about 300 perhaps.
