I have noticed that women will have Height and Ethnicity preferences.
Lot of Caucasian Females only prefer White Male. Some Black Girls prefer White guys.
Lot of them will disable the account for a week. So they don't get the usual sexual messages.
Most of them have at least 1 kid. Plenty of women who are divorced.
That's odd, I have a female friend who gets as many messages on OKC daily as you get on POF. Maybe men on OKC are intimidated by the fact that you are both highly educated and attractive? The only tall, 20 yr old black and cuban woman on OKC in Orlando is a weed lover, outwardly sexual in a ghetto way, and uses lots of profanity in her profile. If that's you I can understand the lack of responses based on the typical OKC crowd.

For a good match prospect I would travel further. But my experience on a dating web site tells me it is very rare for people to get involved with anyone that is not local to them. It's more like you need to live within an hour of me or you will not be contacted. And that "hour" is a generous estimate.
