I always say people are delusional when it comes to dating. I don't know where all of this nonsense came into play but dating can suck to high hell in this "modern/advanced" society we now live in.

I came across a dating profile tonight and the first thing the young kady said on her profile was NOT: "Hello", "hi", "thanks for stopping by", it was
"YOU MUST HAVE A PASSPORT!" Of course, it's always said in the most DEMANDING tone too.
Funny thing is, no where on her profile did she mention traveling nor destinations that she's visited.
Man, if I did not need sex, I would not even try to date. I really do understand why people give up on dating and say F**K IT! I went to Chipotle today and had more fun by myself than I've had a many dates.
yea that pretty much sums it up. I went to my uncle's body building competition a few years back and was basically horrified at the way some of them talk and they said the same exact things: if they didn't NEED sex they wouldn't even bother with women/dating them at all. But what you said is true, there's reasons why some people just say oh well about the whole damn thing.
I really doubt that, many traveler types think they are enlightened and anyone who doesn't travel internationally are idiots and not worth talking to. Check out world/travel sections on here, majority of the regulars aren't like that, but you do get a lot of the elitist type on there.

I wouldn't be involved with anyone who didn't like to travel because it's my passion. It teaches me something about myself with every trip.

It means she wants you to get a passport. If you cant do that then you have no business contacting her. When us women specify certain criteria you must have it or your out the door.

I have travelled less than some people and more than others (probably most) and the ONE trip that has been financed by someone else was a trip to Chicago paid for by husband for my birthday.
This year I paid for our trip to Park City to ski for his birthday.
Other than that I have been on 3 round the world trips and numerous international vacations all with MY Amex at center stage.
Oh and for the record - I enjoy fine dining too. Someone who goes to nowhere but chain restaurants is not going to work for me. Guess what MY Amex always covered that too!
If you ask my husband if I am high maintanence I bet he would say no. Fortunately we enjoy the same kinds of things. That's what makes us COMPATIBLE life partners. Is this really so hard for some of you to understand? Perhaps if you spent more time narrowing down your options to women you REALLY have things in common with, there would be less posts on here moaning about trivia like this and more great relationships.

You hit a nerve. I am soooooo tired of reading that kind of post assuming the worst of all women all the time.
You are so bitter I really do feel sorry for you but at the same time there's really no excuse for the crap that gets written here about women all. the. time.
