Military officer - especially a fighter pilot in the Air Force

The military is a different lifestyle, but there is something about the guys that makes me melt. It might be their take-charge attitude that I really like.

This was always my pseudo-FIL's M.O.

Marry somebody, secretary on the side. Then he'd decide he wanted to marry the secretary, then she was no longer the secretary, which opened him up for the NEXT secretary. Rinse, repeat. We're on like round three of that. I never could figure out why the secretaries-turned wives didn't see it coming. I guess everyone likes to think they're different, but news flash, you're not, to a womanizer.

Depends on the person.

Any man willing to submit to a cause that isn't strictly 100% his is a sheep.

I'd say porn star.

More politely, I'd say...

Chefs
Artists
Poets

Then you have true alpha professions..

Politicians
Lawyers

And how could you forget doctors. They are the standard by which all us other males are judged.

But the best men?

They don't have prprofessions.
You are their profession.

I think this is a big part of the reason that military and other alpha types are a no-go for me. The take-charge attitude has the opposite effect on me that it does on most, I'd imagine. I find it mostly annoying.

^I'd wager that there are very few alphas in the military. The military is basically beta central.

Most aplhas would go in, assess their chances, and move on.

Did he earn a living and pay his bills with his bouncer job, is so why does it matter. Why does eveyone HAVE to be an overachieving superman. Why can't some people live a relaxed lifestyle? How many people actualy live up to their FULL potential. If the dude is paying his bills why all the hate.

Living in the city I am within walking distance of at least 20 bars. I get sort of bored during the winters because there is less to do. I have some friends in the city but not many. So overall here is my pro/con list.

Pros:
Get cheap drinks / free drinks
Get paid to stand around
Meet new people
Meet girls

Cons:
Work weekends

I just have to figure out if the pros outweigh the cons.

When I was young the hottest summer job you could have was lifeguard. Guys would accept lower pay and even skip vacations to work this Chick Magnet job. Nowadays perhaps personal trainer, though most of those are also women.
