In General, anything that makes that $$$$.
Entertainers get plenty of attention from women. Especially if they are good ones. I'm a singer (R&B/ Soul) and I know that gets plenty of attention from females. It's actually a very powerful tool to really impress a woman. Just go to youtube and click on any Trey Songz, Chris Brown, ect video and read the comments. Idk how many females I seen that are completely THIRSTY over entertainers. It's crazy lol.

There are few men that do what I do, and also few people my age that do what I do, so that already gets a woman's attention. Special Ed teacher? I never would have thought that! Generally, jobs that are chick magnets are ones that women assume pay well. The classic examples are doctors, lawyers, and dentists. The first two careers are the subject of a lot of TV shows so that is an added bonus. I'm a lawyer but I can't really say that, by itself, is what gets me women. It certainly helps though.

The older a woman is, the more likely she is to be attracted to you because of your profession. Women ages 18-22 are college-aged and don't really have expectations that their boyfriends should have real careers at that time, or they just don't have the maturity to want the type of man who would go to college and work hard at establishing a professional career.

Personally, I always went for guys in the military, law enforcement, emergency responders, etc.. If you told me you were some type of artist/creative type (musician, writer, painter, etc.), I was generally turned off.

Heck, when my husband told me he was "in sales," I figured we'd have nothing in common and he just be another annoying salesman.

I'm much more open minded now.

I work in this same profession, at a private school geared specifically for the needs of these kids, and since we have so many more male students than female (our population reflects diagnostic trends for ASDs), we actually have more male teachers than the standard public school. But those males are ABSOLULTELY chick magnets. Women absolutely tend to fall over men who work in "sensitive guy" fields. Many of our guy teachers are married, but those that aren't get soooo many women. I know guys tend to think that women light up at a guy in a highly paying field, but I have seen too many instances of chicks flocking to guys based on, "Awwww, he works with kids who have special needs...my heart is melting!" Are there women who will turn their nose up, knowing that teachers aren't gonna be meal tickets? Sure. It's a really easy way to weed them out. I also know people who have married and divorced surgeons and attorneys, because dealing with being second fiddle to somebody's job wasn't their cup of tea, nor were the egos that went with the professions, in those particular instances.

For me, jobs of guys haven't been that big of a draw for me one way or another, beyond there being some professions that I just think are interesting.

My SO is a forensic accountant, fraud investigator and a CPA. When I met him, he was a catastrophe claims adjuster for an insurance company, traveling around and going to places that had had natural disasters. Prior to that, he was a seasonal park ranger for the National Parks Service.

When I was single and dating casually, I dated guys of the following professions, off the top of my head:

auto mechanic
musician
commercial property manager
bank auditor
firefighter
graduate student
community college instructor
bouncer in a dive bar
Air Force sergeant
scientist with the EPA
Off ice official for CHL hockey team

Kind of all over the place...never about jobs, for me, beyond finding certain jobs interesting.

Professional athletes, movie stars, musician/singer/rock band/rapper, politicians. I have never heard of women "dropping their panties" for a special ed teacher. My cousin is a speciall ed teacher and nothing could be further from the truth. I also don't know about cops either.

My list of professions that are sexy for men:

Doctors- the knowledge they have, the professionalism, the bedside manner, & the way they look in their scrubs....yummy

Lawyers- I am drawn to educated, aggressive, & driven men. They are always fun, always sexy.

Entrepreneurs- once again, powerful, smart, driven & (usually) successful.

Actors, writers, etc. - I am drawn to their creativity, & I love the introverted types.

I guess that conversely I'm always put off by a guy who only works for a paycheck-There's no passion in that.
