Who ever is truly happy with themselves ? I think only people who are lying to themselves, or people who have always been very confident & never had this kind of problem.

Sounds like the type of childhood that creates memories that would benefit from therapy. I think it's worth the investment in this case.

No, I'm not happy with myself.

And using that as an excuse to not meet people is what's keeping me in the place where I am.

I recognize the mistakes I'm making, do you ?

Now, I'll admit, I'm doing nothing to fix them, but at least I recognize them.
