Poodles are one of the smartest dog breeds around, and are known to be particularly empathic, meaning they know what you're feeling. They are also hunting dogs and can run crazy fast, and big standard males can reach 90+ pounds. Only downside is they look a little unorthodox.
I'm attracted to quiet types so while I could get easily choose from a pool of high quality dates, I actually had to pursue my husband.
When dating I was drawn to quiet, intelligent, practical, kind, honest men who were independant as well. Essentially, I wanted an equal and a partner in crime...not a doormat.
As to the type of woman I am: Independent "tom boy" with a nerdy sci-fi, comic book loving streak. I can work a room but am an introvert at heart and respect that quality in others. Contrary to popular belief, just because I know what I want and am blunt, that doesn't mean I wear the pants in the relationship. I know what I like and my own worth, so I didn't need a man to sweep me off my feet, or feed into some crazy ego trip. I tend to be drawn to quiet guys, so I understood early on that I'd need to be the initiator in relationships because those types of men typically take too long to make a moves on their own.
Absolutely none. Men being shy is a symptom not a natural state. A natural man is shameless, open and direct and also selfish. If you are not, fix it.
I don't think so. Many men are shameless, open, direct and selfish, but I wouldn't peg that as the "natural state" of a man. It is a choice to be that way as a man, not something preprogrammed into them by nature.
