Disagree. Initial attraction is 90% of the game. The better looking the guy the more attention he gets, options he has, and the less he has to work to attract women.
Average to below average guys generally have to work their butts off to get the type of woman they want. This comes from fact that multiple women are clinging (being strung along) by the same guy and/or dealing with married men.
The placebo implies some kind of "empty" pill, so I'm not following.
I'll put it this way:
The 9 who makes $80K a year trumps the 7 who makes $120K a year, assuming everything else was held constant, including personalities that were both acceptable to the "shopper."

Ding ding! I was being sarcastic.
But Robert to follow along with your logic, who do you think would win, the 9 in your example or 7?
I don't know....but between those scenarios, I'd be all about whoever I clicked with more.
In bizarro world perhaps..My good looking friend has women flocking to him whenever we go out..Women have even called him a jerk and arrogant at times behind his back then minutes later groping him because they think hes hot..meanwhile im pretty much invisible to women..
Its much easier when youre a good looking dude..Id love to try it out for a day lol
Women like good looking men just as much as guys like good looking women. The only difference is that the women on this board sit here in denial about all females. Look how women act around a guy who could be considered a 10 and how they act around a guy who could be considered a 5. It's night and day
