"Men’s Rights bloggers are right in saying that feminism has made marriage a losing proposition for today’s men. Whether women enter the marriage contract in bad faith, or frivolously break the marriage contract to seek a better deal elsewhere, men are left paying for their free ride. Sometimes men pay for life. On top of that as an extra slap in the face men are often deprived of any meaningful rights to the children they’ve fathered.
Feminism hasn’t just broken marriage. It’s made all relationships between the sexes completely dysfunctional.... "

Oh yes, it's absolutely out of the question. My friends know that if I ever show intention of marrying, they should place me in a mental hospital right away.
if vodka was water and I was a duck, id swim to the bottom and never come up, but vodka isn't water and im not a duck so pass me the bottle and ****!!!
Cmon Dew, now youre taunting. Ill leave marriage for other suckers that dont know any better. In this case, im willing to learn from others' mistakes.
I'm in a good mood today and am enjoying teasing you. It's better when I don't take you too seriously. You and I learn from others mistakes in different ways. I see what other people did wrong - such as choosing the wrong partner, thinking their partner could change, marrying someone they didn't trust, marrying someone for the wrong reason - and I learn from that. So I married someone I trust, someone I love with my whole heart, someone I don't want to live without. And I have a wonderful marriage - just like my parents did, just like my husbands parents do, just like many people that I know do. But like I said before - you are entitled to your opinion. As long as you are happy - that's all that should matter to you. I just find that railing against something that doesn't have to affect me at all (something that people do willfully and happily) is a waste of my time and energy.
Being married is way overrated by many. I was married once and wouldn't ever get married again, but I might feel otherwise if I hadn't tried it once. I can definitely say it's not for me. I can barely date someone in the same zip code without feeling suffocated.
Agree with you 110%, especially the part about being suffocated . That’s why I prefer long-distance relationships. I can be in a relationship and still have the freedom to do my own thing (reading, writing, traveling, taking naps, etc.).

You can always just have an SO or a legal domestic partnership and get married in a Church, Synagogue, Mosque, Temple, Pagan circle, or by your Cat if you choose?
You have to fall in love with someone first and they have to fall in love with you.
